Insurance for Your Exotics

We all do our very best to look after our exotic pets. However, sometimes despite our efforts, things do not always go to plan. As any sign of weakness in the wild would make them easy prey, exotics are known to hide their illness until they are very, and in some cases critically, unwell. At that point hospitalisation and intensive care is often required.

The specialised equipment and skills required in caring for exotics can mean increased costs. Therefore many exotic pet owners are now deciding to insure their pets.

Whilst we are not allowed to specifically recommend particular companies, there are increasing numbers of pet insurance providers which offer cover specifically for exotics.
